Google Game Builder

Is a video game for PC and Mac From Google Game Builder Free Video Game. You build any kind of 3D game using simple drag and drop tools. Google has created a Card Based Visual programming system” that lets users create all kinds of objects and give them motion or whatever they’d like from the drag-and-drop cards. There’s no coding required and no messing with JavaScript. However, it’s optional if you wish to get into the granular mechanics and want more control over everything.
Users won’t have to worry about creating their own 3D models or objects to use for their game. Google Game Builder Free Video Game For All has its own Creation Library or they can search for 3D models on Google Poly, Googles own library of 3D models. Whether it’s an FPS game or a simple plat former, the game supports both the genres.

The game Google Game Builder Free Video Game For All comes from Area 120, Google’s special workshop with experimental projects. Google Game Builder Free Video Game has been available on Steam in early access since November last year, but the company has now announced the existence of the game publicly in a Google Blog post.

It takes the Mine craft approach of building, so if you have played that game, it will be comparatively easier to catch up and build your own game. Another interesting feature about the game is that it supports multi player. This means 3D games can be built collaboratively with your friends.
Google Game Builder Free Video Game For All has a Very Positive rating on Steam and after going through the reviews, it seems like the game is fun and a great choice for beginners who would like to try their hands out in creating a game for the first time without any experience. Although the idea sounds quite promising, we’ll get a better idea when we try it out ourselves.

Google’s Area 120 Team

The company’s in-house incubator for some of its more experimental projects, today launched  Google Game Builder Free Video Game For All, a free and easy to use tool for PC and Mac OS users who want to build their own 3D games without having to know how to code. Game Builder is currently only available through Valve’s Steam platform, so you’ll need an account there to try it.
After a quick download, Game Builder asks you about what screen size you want to work on and then drops you right into the experience after you tell it whether you want to start a new project, work on an existing project or try out some sample projects. These sample projects include a first-person shooter, a plat former and a demo of the tool’s card system for programming more complex interactions.

The menu system and building experience take some getting used to and isn’t immediately intuitive, but after a while, you’ll get the hang of it. By default, the overall design aesthetic clearly draws some inspiration from Mine craft, but you’re pretty free in what kind of game you want to create. It does not strike me as a tool for getting smaller children into game programming since we’re talking about a relatively text-heavy and complex experience.
